My parents bought a giant box of non-diet Coke for the first time in years. I'm losing my mind. I cannot stop drinking Coke.

I haven't updated for a really long time. This is on account of

I don't draw anymore, that much. I don't know why, and
Nothing that thrilling has happened to me.

However, soon I will be leaving this place. My parents are divorcing and I'm graduating.
Change is a great and terrible thing, my children.

I am going out into the great beyond and oh how daunting it is. I'll either go off to university (Chico, probably) or stay behind at Sierra for a while, but either way all my friends will be gone. Either way, my sheltered, stable life will be completely different.

I feel ridiculously motherly towards Edgar, my rat. He's going to college with me, because I plan on keeping him alive several years longer than a typical rat lifespan (he'll be too happy and loved to die).

So in a nutshell, AP English, student teaching, and Edgar have become my entire life. I have it all planned out. It's a little sad to me how everything is going as planned--I've always wanted something crazy to happen and throw me into a completely different life--but it's mostly happy because I have everything I want and I am a very happy person.

However, I am going to tell you my secret plan. It is a well thought out one, and it will take a few years to unfold, but it is a plan nonetheless and it is going to happen.

My secret plan is to get another job as soon as possible, and begin saving as much as I can. When I feel I have enough or the moment is right, I will explain to my mother that we must move to Scotland and not take my dad.
(We can't take him, because he makes her unhappy, and the point of my plan is to make her happy).
So we will move to Scotland and we will both find jobs, and use the money I saved in the meantime to rent a house and look for jobs. I'll finish becoming a teacher if I hadn't done that already and she'll do something else, and we will be so happy living in Scotland because it is pretty, and she will be away from him.
